Same-Day Porcelain Crowns | (top)
Dental crowns made within a single office visit have a unique treatment process that is unlike traditional lab-created crowns. Patients no longer have to wait days, or even weeks, for their dental impression to be sent off to a lab and a crown created. Everything is done right within our office and without the use of sticky, runny dental impression goo.
Dr. Cashion will use a piece of dental equipment known as The CEREC System to create the crown. Using a small wand, he will scan the tooth where the crown will be attached, as well as your entire mouth. The system will take the images obtained by this scan and design a crown that will fit. After the system has completed the crown design, it will be sent to a 3D printer, where a 3D model is created. When this is completed, the system will use both the scanned images and 3D model to create the actual crown. The actual crown is created using a milling machine that is built right into the CEREC System.
Once the actual crown is completed by the milling machine, Dr. Cashion will shape and fit it. The goal is to add any finishing touches to the crown so it will securely sit within your mouth and look as natural as possible. After the crown has been molded to fit your tooth, it will be cemented into place right away.
This specific type of dental crown allows patients to fix current dental problems without having to go through a lengthy process that requires multiple office visits. Patients can expect it to take approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours. However, the actual time it takes for your appointment may vary depending upon how many teeth need a crown and if any problems arise during the treatment process.
Invisalign | (top)
Is the clear alternative to braces! Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces. Dr. Cashion will create a unique, digital treatment plan that maps out the exact movements of your teeth.
Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible — people may not even notice you’re wearing them. You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or for special occasions. There are no metal brackets or wires that could irritate your mouth or break, sending you to your doctor for an emergency visit.
Dental Implants | (top)
Dental implants are made to replace teeth you have lost for any reason. They are made of titanium. The lightweight material bonds to healthy bone, but the nearby teeth aren’t affected. The dental implants look like normal, healthy teeth.
Dental implants can last a lifetime. You can have a dental implant for a single tooth or for multiple teeth. Unlike dentures and bridges, dental implants don’t require you to have the nearby teeth altered in any manner. If you have multiple teeth that need to be replaced using dental implants, this is done by using a frame to anchor the implant. You must have healthy gums and bones in the mouth in order for them to support the dental implants.
There are many advantages to having dental implants. Most importantly, you have the full ability to chew the foods you love. Dental implants help to stop bone loss and preserve healthy teeth. Additionally, dental implants maintain the natural look of the area since the jawbone and gums are preserved. This means you can enjoy a natural looking smile.
Bridges | (top)
Are applied when teeth are missing. These are often called “partial dentures”, and they are very strong options when you need to strengthen your teeth as a whole.
Custom Dentures | (top)
Are an option for someone who has a lot of missing teeth. These are removable, and they are made especially for the individual. They are natural-looking and attractive.
Root Canal Therapy | (top)
Might be needed if the nerve, or pulp, of a tooth is damaged. When this happens, the risk of infection increases, and your tooth can die. A root canal will remove the damaged nerve, and then a crown is used to seal the affected tooth.
Composite Fillings | (top)
Give you a strong, durable alternative to silver amalgam fillings. In addition to being more durable, they are tooth-colored, so they preserve your smile more effectively.
Bonding | (top)
Repairs broken and stained teeth by applying a composite resin material to your tooth or teeth. We can close gaps and correct broken edges that may distract the eye, giving you the uniform look that you desire.
Veneers | (top)
Can conceal impurities in your teeth by applying a porcelain layer to the front surface of your teeth. With veneers, you can complement your teeth and cover up chips and stains.
Extractions | (top)
Are sometimes necessary on teeth when too much damage has been done, or when the tooth in question is causing more problems with the rest of your smile. With Cashion Dental, extra care is taken to ensure your comfort before, during, and after your procedure.

Whitening | (top)
Is a great option for anybody who has stained teeth. Tooth whitening is a cosmetic dentistry procedure that lightens teeth and helps to remove stains and discoloration.
If you are self-conscious about the color of your teeth, whitening can help you restore the confidence in your smile.
Dr. Cashion offers take-home whitening as well as same-day whitening. Zoom Same Day Whitening is an in-office bleaching process that is widely known for its ability to quickly brighten teeth from the effects of discoloration. Zoom incorporates a special light that penetrates the teeth to break up stains and discoloration. During the process, the patient is free to relax, watch TV, or listen to music. The complete procedure takes about one hour.
